As your baby becomes more alert, you begin to see eye contact, little expressions and eventually those first beautiful smiles.
Whether you choose those sleepy first days or wait for those first connections, there is no wrong time — only a different part of their story to capture.
FIRST DAYS
Around 1–4 weeks
Sleepy, tiny and beautifully new. These early portraits capture those fleeting newborn details, tiny fingers and toes, curled-up poses and the beautiful simplicity of those first weeks.
FIRST CONNECTIONS
Around 5–10 weeks
More alert, expressive and beginning to engage with the world around them. This stage is about eye contact, cuddles, little expressions and perhaps even those first beautiful smiles.
A RELAXED APPROACH TO NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY
Your baby doesn’t need to sleep through their session or fit into a particular mould.
Sessions are relaxed and baby-led, allowing time for feeding, settling and cuddles along the way. Whether your baby is peacefully asleep or wide awake and taking everything in, we’ll create beautiful portraits that feel natural and true to this little stage of their story.

A CALM, SPACIOUS AND COMFORTABLE SPACE CREATED FOR BEAUTIFUL PORTRAITS.
My private home studio in South Gladstone has been thoughtfully designed for newborns, babies and families, with soft neutral tones, beautiful natural textures and a relaxed atmosphere.
From my light-filled newborn room to my main portrait studio, every space is prepared with comfort and simplicity in mind. I have a carefully curated collection of wraps, outfits, props and accessories available, so you can simply arrive and enjoy the experience while I take care of the rest.
With over 25 years of photography experience, my aim is to make every session feel easy, unhurried and personal — while creating timeless images you’ll love for years to come.

Sessions can include professional hair and makeup, access to gowns and fabrics, and the option to include your partner and children. My studio offers a private, comfortable space with controlled lighting, allowing us to create elegant portraits at any time of day.
Family
Relaxed, timeless family portraits designed to capture genuine connection and the personalities that make your family yours.
Studio sessions can be styled with a range of simple backdrops, from classic white through to soft neutrals and darker tones, allowing us to create portraits that suit both your family and your home.
Cake Smash
Celebrate your baby’s first birthday with a relaxed Cake Smash session designed to capture all the fun, personality and little details of this special milestone.
Sessions can be kept beautifully simple or styled to suit your chosen theme. Just bring your baby’s cake and outfit, and I’ll take care of the rest.
We finish with a playful splash in the bath — usually a favorite part of the session.
Fairytale Portraits
